Company History

Robert E. Foster founded Security Code 3 in 2000. He based his company on superior customer service and loyalty to his clients. Mr. Foster was formerly the Director of Security for a major supermarket chain where he worked for 13 years. Robert has worked for a leading background investigation firm for 7 years and has conducted 100’s of background investigations on Police Officer, Firefighter, and Dispatcher applicants. Mr. Foster is also a full-time Police Officer. He is a member of the Crisis Intervention Team which involves the handling of emotionally unstable or mentally disturbed persons.

Mr. Foster attended San Jose University for 6 years where he concentrated his studies on criminal justice and business. He is a “hands-on” supervisor and frequently works alongside his security officers. He remains knowledgable of each client’s issues and needs and uses a variety of resources to achieve maximum results. Mr. Foster is licenced in the State of California as a Private Patrol Operator, Real Estate Salesperson, Private Pilot, and Background Investigator.

He has undergone extensive training in the field of security and completed courses in homeland security and anit-terrorism. He has experience in the mananging, scheduling, and supervision of security personnel. Mr. Foster has a special expertise in the area of security consultant, worker’s compensation investigations, and accident investigations.
