Security Code-3 Employee Training Program
Continuous effective training is the key to quality service and employee development.
Structured training improves morale, reduces turnover, minimizes liability exposure, and increases productivity. Security Code 3 experts have created a comprehensive training program based on the guidelines of BSIS, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services for the State of California. Security Code 3 training always meets and usually exceeds State-mandated training requirements.
All employees servicing an account are continuously involved in the Security Code 3 training program. A formal definition of client expectations (primary security risks and operational concerns) are implemented and updated regularly by the management personnel responsible for the placement and success of each security officer, including:
Recruiters who select the personnel for placement.
Schedulers who staff each site.
Trainers who provide site-specific training to new employees.
Operational personnel who prepare detailed post orders.
Security officers who are required to be familiar with post orders and daily instructions
Site/shift supervisors who manage daily activities
Patrol Inspectors who make random, unannounced site inspections
Watch Commanders and Dispatchers who monitor security officers activities
Training Curriculum and Orientation
Security Code 3 adheres to the training curriculum developed by the BSIS. Mandated curriculum includes:

Security Code-3 Public Training Facility
The success of Security Code-3 employee training program has led to the development of a diverse public training facility where those preparing or expecting to join the security industry, or further their training and education, may do so from the best.
Security Code-3 has become the only private security agency in Santa Clara County that maintains a BSIS (Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) Certification as a public training facility. Under the direction of instructor Maj. Jeffrey Grant, hundreds of those entering the security field or furthering their training will accomplish this through Security Code-3.
