Training Center
Continuous effective training is the key to quality service and employee development.
Structured training improves morale, reduces turnover, minimizes liability exposure, and increases productivity.
Security Code 3 experts have created a comprehensive training program based on the guidelines of BSIS, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services for the State of California. Security Code 3 training always meets and usually exceeds State-mandated training requirements.
TRAINEE GROUPS
All employees servicing an account are involved continuously in the Security Code 3 training program. A formal definition of client expectations (primary security risks and operational concerns) and comprehensive Security Code 3 training will be given to:
• Recruiters who select the personnel
• Schedulers who staff the site
• Trainers who provide site-specific training to new employees
• Operational personnel who prepare detailed post orders
• Security officers who are required to be familiar with post orders and daily instructions
• Site/shift supervisors who manage daily activities
• Inspectors who make random, unannounced site inspections
• Dispatchers who monitor security officers’ activities
TRAINING MATERIALS
Security Code 3 uses a variety of materials, including:
• Video presentations

• Classroom sessions
• Pictorial presentations
• Written materials
TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION
Security Code 3 will use a variety of methods to train employees, including hands-on/field training, lectures/seminars, on-site performance audits, discussions, and quizzes. On all aspects of training, our officers receive competency-based tests, which provide a measurement of the officers’ ability to comprehend and retain the instructions given to them. Documentation of test materials is available for client records and review if desired. Security Code 3 will archive training records for clients for purposes of compliance and reduced exposure to liability.

All on-duty officers carry Guard Cards, California State licenses to work
